Welcome!

Welcome to the Social Networking and Library 2.0 blog created for IM 452/552. Students use the web not necessarily for research but as an extension of their own personality. With Web 2.0 social networking tools, students create and share information about their life. But how can we use these tools to interact with students, engage students, and educate them? We hope this blog can serve as a reference point and a networking system for media specialists around the world. Please post your comments, suggestions, and questions so that we media specialists can learn from each other how to be more effective teachers, leaders, and library 2.0 librarians.
